Angel of the North bone china cup has been created from an original painting by local North East artist Emily Ward.
Emily's picture shows The Angel of the North standing proud on a hilltop in Gateshead with a light scattering of snow falling all around. The blue sky with a soft hint of pink really lifts this painting. The wintery feel is added to with the darkened rugged grass in the forefront of the picture.
