Angel of the North Framed Ceramic Tile is one of many stunning North East paintings by local artist Emily Ward. The Angel stands tall amongst the colourful grass and flowers, acting as protection to the community.
The Angel was the catalyst for the cultural regeneration of Gateshead Quays, leading to the Millennium Bridge, Baltic and the Sage. Emily also has gorgeous paintings of these available on her website.
 
Each Framed Tile is hand finished by North East Artist Emily Ward. So although your ceramic framed tile is actually a print, no two tiles are identical. Emily hand finishes the tiles by adding extra paint to the ceramic tile.
The framed tile appears as if it is floating inside the frame.
Each frame is 27x 27 x 5cm
Colours may vary as each tile is printed individually.
