St Mary’s Lighthouse Blue framed ceramic tile is a beautiful painting by local North East artist Emily Ward. Vivid shades of blue and purple highlight the flowers in the foreground of this scene, creating a positive feel to the painting.
The lighthouse stands proudly on St Mary’s island, illuminated by the glowing clouds. Emily’s paint splatters shower the landscape with an uplifting mix of lilac, blue and white, contrasting with the bright blue sea.
 
Each Framed Tile is hand finished by North East Artist Emily Ward. So although your ceramic framed tile is actually a print, no two tiles are identical. Emily hand finishes the tiles by adding extra paint to the ceramic tile.
The framed tile appears as if it is floating inside the frame.
